Salman Khan's Hit-And-Run Case Adjourned
The Bombay High Court on Monday adjourned Salman Khan's hit-and-run case till October 5. At the previous hearing on September 15, the court had fixed September 21 as the date to hear Bajrangi Bhaijaan's appeal on a daily basis.

In May this year, the lower court had convicted and sentenced Salman to five years' imprisonment for culpable homicide not amounting to murder under the influence of alcohol.

The September 2002 incident had resulted in one man's death and injured a few others. The victims were sleeping on a pavement in Bandra when the vehicle rammed into them. However, the actor appealed in the High Court against his conviction and also sought a bail on the same day.

Later, the Bombay High Court rejected a plea seeking stay on Salman's appeal. Last month, the Supreme Court also refused to cancel the actor's bail granted by the High Court. The appeal for cancellation of bail was made by Sushila Himmatrao Patil, mother of late Mumbai Police constable Ravi Patil, who was Salman's bodyguard at the time of the accident.
